Everyone can go up a difficulty tier, it feels more appropriate that way if you wish to compare it to past games.
You can change difficulty during the game, unless you're doing Nightmare.
Nightmare also isn't even "officially" slated as a "NG+" mode either. More people should attempt NG Nightmare this time around. You don't have to.
Just don't be discouraged by Magic Knights, they're a bit silly since they heal, rest of the game is fine no matter the difficulty mode.
Ogre + 200cp S-Craft with those quartz let me beat every boss in a minute or less on normal difficulty. Crazy overpowered.
Tested CS 3 demo on normal and it was pretty easy until the final boss of this trial shows up.
Nah. i would say that this 1st battle is more RNG than "get gud". Played the demo twice on normal. 1st time was 1st try and the 2nd time he wiped me out. Buffed himself to red attack and spammed his ground blaster 3 or 4 times in a row.
The most difficult part is to wait until the full version is released :-D
Because its the first boss in the game?
That's not good, as that's makes for a disincentive for playing NG+.
Like say, what would be the point of playing on Nightmare the first time through, then playing again on Nightmare in NG+ mode?
In that case, why bother having NG+ in the game, as it will have no challenge if you are just re-hashing the same thing you've just alreadly done previously.
Seems to me like the game would have been much more replayable if they did keep Nightmare as officially NG+ mode.
