Try inputing the nickname insted of your email for gamespy. It works fine for me when I do it that way. But it's sad that no one is playing online >.<

Gamespy is no longer in buisness..if you go to their website..they went bankrupt..so now it has to go thru steam to play online.

yeah i have steam but i even typed that profile name in and still wouldnt let me
although its connected with steam, you still have to sign in with gamespy. when you first open DnD, click the create an account button on the top right, or if you have an account with gamespy already, log into your account. it pops up automaticallt everytme you open DnD unless you already signed in once before.

not sure what to do if you have to "sign in" with a new gamespy account. All i can say is i hope you either got one, or try to use something like tunngle or hamachi to play this.

You do not have to sign into Gamespy, my understanding is you are to use Steam to connect to multiplayer. Plus Gamespy is no longer active.

That's a pretty raw deal. Sent a few emails to Atari on the subject over the last few weeks, go figure not a single reply. I'm pretty disappointed in their abandonment of customers (Atari, not Steam, they're just hosting a product).

IGN shut down GameSpy :(

Yep Gamespy is gone, Atari dropped this product after just a few months (I suspect partially because of contract disputes with Hasbro/WotC over the D&D franchise). Enjoy the pilot episode of the series that never happened.

they should patch it so lan party can work without gamespy.

The problem is this game has been abandoned by the developer, and was shortly after it was released. If it wasn't we'd have the rest of the 'chapters' of this game series like they originally planned.
