I guess that with all those people sending their d**k pics left and right, privacy does not mean much anymore.
Well, they do what they want at the end without any hurry. Is not as easy as "it's illegal" so they have to quickly fix it. This can take a lot of time to be solved in any way that it's not voluntarily and "friendly" by WB.
As it seems the part of the company dedicated to videogames is having a deep change process since their latest flops, i can't even imagine the chaos that would be to find someone responsible and with power to quickly solve this privacy matter these days. If it's hard and takes time when the situation is stable, now that it's not surely can be much more complicated. Well, either that or they simply don't care, idk. I feel like we are just a bunch of people trapped at this forum or at Reddit with threads that try to call attention to this while the rest of the world ignores us and that does not help for this to be solved quickly.
In any case, what's surely is not hard or complicated is to solve this issue about privacy. It can be done in minutes, most probably and after 2 months we don't know anything at all and the "solution" mod marked to this thread is not a solution at all but surely from outside it can seem it's all solved when it's not :S
Sorry but you are the one misinterpreting what's the problem here. Read better, it's all explained in this thread. No one said a thing here about the EULA which it is, indeed, mostly the usual (some new ugly additions but basically the usual stuff)
i don't think installing a keylogger alongside games is standard practice, i mean if it was why do we still have passwords?
For the sake of other people like you who don't read:
The decline button doesn't work for some of us and the alternate solution pinned by the mods is complete bs.
Good to know I should blacklist WB Games from any future purchasing considerations.
i have already set wb to ignored in the steam store. i hope they fix this but until i'm convinced this doesn't happen again i'm not buying anything from them.
For those who are interested in what CCPA is all about, here's a bit:
This has been going in game industry 10+ year and never seen it fixed. They wont even mention it actually.
