I dont think they are going to fix it.
High-end systems are more likely to experience problems because they either use a 13th or 14th gen Intel CPU, or they use the flawed 12VHPWR connection to the GPU. No dev can fix buggy hardware.
Since you have a 13th gen CPU, you should definitely install any BIOS updates and reload Intel Default Settings, but an i5 is much less likely to have damaged itself compared to an i7 or i9.
A 4060 is what it is. It's not going to burn the power connector, but it's also not going to rock the house with performance. So leave ray-tracing off and shoot for solid 60 fps at high settings and it'll probably do that pretty well.
Who is "we"? Runs perfectly fine for me.
In the end, I don't think most people care if their cpu runs warm on it, as long as the game runs smooth. And unless you're on a 3060 or a 5700 xt, it should run smooth.
