Missing difficulty setting
I honestly dont know why HARD, the hardest difficulty in the game, is so freaking easy.
Just getting what you can from collectible the first time they let you free in Hogwart get you to like level 12.
I'm losing interest in the lower half of the map because for one, without even grinding anything, im level 39. There is no more rewards in sight for the countless easy merlin trials.
The treasure vault haven't yielded anything for how many hours?
I really wish the game would be a challenge that make you use your spells instead of the only hard fight in the game is the want duel 1 v 4.

I'd recommend installing a mod for more difficult enemies, for your enjoyability. But yes, it isn't that hard.

Yeah the difficulty needs some reworking. As it is now you can run ♥♥♥♥ first into a group of enemies and come out completely unscathed. Heck with the right talents you can charge into that group of enemies and quite literally oneshot all of them at once. The only enemy so far that has given me a modicum of challenge was the first trial boss, but even that only took a few tries figure out what with its predictable attack patterns

It's an RPG, not AA or FPS, so yes, combat difficulty is going to be weighted on the easier side. I do agree that it could, however, benefit from at least one more uptick in difficulty. This would make a stealth/tactical run a lot more viable. As it is, there isn't much point in different play styles. For me, that's okay, I can just play mixed styles and get the flavor of all. It's not like we can make different characters. Minus a few "talents", everyone has the same character anyway. So there's not much point in multiple runs.

??? What does that even mean ' its an rpg? ' Have you never played RPGs that have a difficulty setting that makes you work for it?

So is Elden Ring and as far as I know it doesn't have a baby mode (Read: Story difficulty) or talents that allows you to absolutely cheese the game with ease, unlike this game

Bottom line is in my opinion both story and easy difficulty should be removed in favour of higher levels of difficulty

They can remain there BUT, in this case of hogwart, when i play the game on the hardest difficulty available, i shouldn't be one shotting bosses without doing anything special.
