Personally I didn't have that particular problem, and if it has been mentioned here in the forum, then it slipped me by. But the game can (unfortunately) crash in a number of ways. Hard to diagnose what's going on in your case without having more information, though.

I'd suggest verifying the game files, to make sure that there isn't a corrupted file somewhere in your installation.

Also, did you use any mods, such as the one that silences Ignatia Wildsmith? An outdated version of that mod, or remnants of a previous installation of it, could perhaps trigger crashes that occur specifically during fast travel.

If that doesn't help, it would be good to know your hardware specs. In your Steam client, go to "Help -> System Information", then post the result here. Of particular interest are CPU, GPU, system memory, and the type of drive you're using. If you're using outdated hardware such as a mechanical hard drive, then that could also explain crashes in situations where a lot of data transfer is going on.

I'm playing the vanilla game, no mods. Also, I've checked the files and no issues.
It appears that the game crash if I select a location, then fast travel.
Any ways to send crash reports to dev team ?

CTD after 3 fast travels is a feature added in the March 8 patch. Quite funny really forcing you to quit playing after a while.:cowbessie:

Same Problem here, sometimes more, sometimes less frequent crashes when I'm fast travelling, maybe Hardware/driver Problem with 13th gen Intel or DDR5 RAM?

Game crashes during fast travel load or right after. It may also crash when loading from save after few hours of gaming.
Sometimes it will crash just right fater first fast travel and sometimes after few hours.
Feature added with patch on March 8.

Game crashes on both rigs each with same spec as below.
I9 - 13900KS - not OCed
Asus Z790 E gaming
32GB Gskill Trident Z5 6800 Mhz XMP
Asus Tuf RTX 4090
Corsair HX1200
Kiingston 3000KC Nvme
Win 10 22H2 (because W11 is stuttery mess)
Newest drivers, firmwares (ME) and bios for everything.

just a quick question: Any of you have UE4SS installed?

I used to have this problem, but for now it's good. Also can happen if you go too fast on a broom, giving me the conclusion that the crash has something to do with loading/unloading stuff related to map to/from memory.

I remember that like it was 3 weeks ago. Oh how time flies when you restart the game again and again :catinablanket:

I'm getting better performance and stability with Nvidia driver 527.56 despite the launch warning message that the driver has knows issues. I call ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on that warning because I can now play with RT on whereas with the latest drivers I'm freezing crashing and bsoding. DOnno if it will help you guys but It's probably worth a shot.

You misunderstand. I don't get crashes now, didn't last week, the week before that or the week before that. I'm not saying it was more stable before I'm saying it always was.

Please post your specs so we can see how the perfectly stable system is put together.

Playing with RT on or off?
Win 10 or 11? 22H2?
If on Nvidia GPU then which driver?
Any ICuE, Armory Crate, Steelseries GG in the background?

I have also seen many times on forums that people with older hardware (like 9th or 10th gen intel with 20xx, 30xx gpu have no problems.
