Secret achievements bug?

Am i the only one having trouble with the secret achievements?

I got the specific achievment for Hufflepuff and then started on the Slytherin one but when i get to where you would supposedly get said achievement nothing happened. I continued to play for a little while, just in case, but still nothing. Even after bringing the book to the map chamber.

I even deleted that save and redid the main quest but still no achievement. I also havent gotten the achivement for Ravenclaw either. Have yet to start a Gryffindor run.

I do have some mods downloaded but that didn’t stop me from getting the other non secret achievements.

I've done Ravenclaw (full game) and Griffindor so far without issue. Currently working on Hufflepuff.

Updated: So, I ended up having to fully uninstall the game and then re-install it. Once I did that, I found the achievements to be working again. I hope that trying this may work for some of you!. Original: I've already done Griffindor and Slytherin achievements, but I just did Ravenclaw and didn't get one. I'm currently starting a Hufflepuff to see if I get that achievement. I hope it gets sorted as the only reason I had started any other than Slytherin was because I have been working towards getting all of the achievements.

I did all and as soon as you activate the portraits in the chamber it should be unlocked.

They're not so much secret. You just have to get to the part of the game where you unlock Talents and they unlock. Which means doing the only content that is actually unique based on your house (The only real difference I've seen is how you meet Jackdaw) and getting to the map room.

I had a problem with the Slyterin achievement. When I reached the chamber I saw the achievement in steam overlay. I then went to the game site in my steam client library. There I could see the achievement as the last one I had unlocked. But when I went to my personal achievements it was still locked. Thankfully, a simple restart of the steam client solved the problem.

First playthrough as Ravenclaw, unlocked it with ease.
Second as Slytherin, played about until I brought back the book and still not getting it...
Don't really want to play as Hufflepuff and Gryffindor in case of the same problem

Have the same problem. I made Griffindor and Ravenclaw when the game released. Wanted to do the remaining two today because that are the only ones missing for me and it does not unlock

Having the same problem. Question: If you uninstall the game and reinstall it, do you lose all of your current achievements?

What one are you exactly struggling with? The Steam house specific achievements only require you to make it to the map room. Once you get there, it should register.

I did them all and had no problem. If I remember right, they all start at Jack Daw's Cave. You reach the bridge and once you get past the guardians, you just do the puzzle rooms until you come out in the map room.

Never really have a problem with this one, then again i use someone else safe file (from nexus) for Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw while only doing Griffindor and my main Slytherin.

I've noticed that if I am not on the same computer that I play the game on, then Steam does not show any of my achievements as being unlocked, except for the first one... which is basically just that you installed and played the game. I thought that was a little weird.
