If you're American. The average lifespan is 77 years of age. Many of you are reaching the end of your life cycle soon.

If you're in your 30s you have about another 30 somethin' years left.

35, same. Just wish I could use RTX, wish it was little more optimized...etc. The usual.

Age don't matter with gaming. There are people in their 60-70s that also play games. Have fun and just don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about what other people think is my view of this.

I got loads of friends older than you that play games just so you know

This is by no means criticism towards you OP i think it's cool that you say this.

Funny enough I never had strong feelings for the Franchise either way...I never read the books, but I watched at least some of the movies (don't even know if I watched all of them lol) and I played another Harry Potter games years ago....I don't think being a fan of the IP is a prerequisite to enjoy the game. :)

I've seen the first film, that's it. Not read or interested in reading the books at all.

The game just looked fun, and it is.

A nice break before I get back to my 500+ hour Elden Ring playthrough...

Nearly 33F , I just finished my first trial. I love the ability to explore, and Stories not to bad. I wish they had thought ahead, and thought about DLC, at least a plan. if they game did well. Don't really know if it's worth $70 as it is. But I do enjoy playing, my son sometimes watches me play, but this really isn't his thing. And a friend of mine plays also and she likes the game. She's the reason i bought it, early comments were 50/50 but most of them weren't even about the game, and those that were, were about the bugs, that haven't been patched yet.

*Yea past without internet sucked!!

Harry potter people like to think as children movies and books, but in reality only the first two where more "childish" even then its pretty dark. Especially in the books where theres like actual gore and such.
Anything movie wise past the 2nd is pretty violent and dark lol.
Just like this game. Especially this game, where you can just crush a guy to death by beating him against the ground, then burning him alive, or freezing a person and shattering them into a million pieces.

harry potter has always been a young adult movie and above imo, aside form the first two.
So no shame in enjoying them :^), it isnt like dora the video game, or elmo the video game lmao.
Im 28 though and enjoy it.
I wish it was better though, as its pretty generic over all. The only thing not super generic is the combat.
Id give it a 7 or 7.5 out of 10. Likely a 7. Above average slightly, but a very generic above average.

I mostly wish they did more with the RPG mechanics aka like leveling up and such. Its a harry potter game, there could have much much cooler talents that where not all passives. And like let you upgrade your spells with perks and such.
Hopeffuly they do that in their next game if they get the rights to make a 2nd one.
Even the story feels like a harry potter story, I saw one spoiler, and I hardly considered it a spoiler because its 100% obvious that thing is going to happen as well, it happens in harry potter and like every story like this xD

If they made the RPG mechanics better Id be giving this a solid 8 maybe even 9.

Not like the OP is making it sound like a critical requirement.

Sounded like a fair and CASUAL question.

If anyone was anal, it was you.

OP, I am much, much older then most in here and while the game has flaws I am enjoying it.

Not sure what your point is...

I enjoyed it, but unfortunately I rushed through it and now I'm waiting to see if they plan on releasing more content... I have done literally everything there is in game. :(

As Baldurs Gate 3 is my most anticipated game for this year, I'm fully on board with much deeper RPG mechanics, though many are afraid of those. Action games always have been more successful then more classical RPGs, so I never expect to much in that regard from big titles...It's a difficult balancing act...Though it does sound awesome to me. :)

I'm just saying, life is almost over for many.

I'm in my late 20s. I live a pretty sedentary lifestyle. I will for sure die from a heart attack or cardiovascular disease.

Well its good to see others who felt the same. But I think we were maybe too old for it back then? It was a real craze, alot of people in their 30s grew up on those stories.

I went recently to a forbidden forest walk in Brussels and it was full of 30+ with their kids. All dressed up in robes with wands.
