[SPOILER] Does "evil ending" makes your character stronger?
Does it makes any difference if you choose to open the final repository and use it yourself (after you defeat Ranrok) ? When you absorb all that pain magic, does it make your spells or anything stronger?

That's what I thought. It's a little strange, that most of the story is about how powerful and dangerous that magic is and it doesn't even do anything.
At least they could have added faster Ancient Magic refil rate and few more bars...

maybe its going to be touched more on with dlcs and more sequels to the franchise

The problem is dark magic/forbidden curses have absolutly no negative consequences.
If you choose not to be evil you have simply less tings.

Exactly. You can cast avada kedavra in front of your school teachers during final mission and no one cares. Other companions are mostly just surprised that you are using dark magic.

Literally does nothing sadly. The endings are just choices with professor Fig right at the end.
I had the option to take the power for myself ( i chose to be evil whole game), got same ending as a mate who just chose to open the repository??? And then the great hall speech from Black and Weasley is exactly the same.

The only difference I saw from the " good ending " is that you speak to Fig as he dies thats it.

KInd of a let down really, being evil or good matters little. That to me doesnt make multiple endings.

So it's basically "choose the color of the explosion" from Mass Effect 3.

No. You just gather the pain in game so that it translates to the real life pain of disappointment.
