You can't control direction other than with where you stand, and you cant control speed other than when you stop pulling.
I did briefly consider that before hitting post but more in the context of whether I consider it a spoiler or not, landing on the different difficulties of a big board game not really being a spoiler. Nonetheless, think it still probably worth mentioning as a very brief guide for OP going forward. All you can effect is starting position which OP should keep in mind when he gets to the swirlies
Now I'm trying to win the broom competition, I've come within 10 seconds but have not won yet. Some of these things are a little harder when you are 84.
Wow, I'm impressed.
The second broom race, Sweeping the Competition, for your second broom upgrade, will be difficult for you.
I did it in 2:22:80 using mouse and keyboard, but I had to practice for two hours.
Not easy.
84 and not a typo? Congrats on still gaming! If I live that long I hope to be lucid enough to keep on.
My first RPG was Avatar the Black Gate, my first MMO was Ultima Online, and I played the first Tomb Raider the week it was released. I've finished every Tomb Raider since, multiple times since then. My long-time game buddy (he played all these games too) was 86 but he died last year so I'm kind of on my own now.
Broom trials you really only have to beat the character that gives you the talk before each race, no need to score top spot, I only did it first time and the rest I was all 2nd spot on the leaderboard by mere hundreds of a second and still got the achievement.
