Issue with Final Repository quest.
Has this happened to anyone else? I started up the Final Repository quest, followed Fig down the first door which triggered the cutscene with the Goblin Drill showing up, however the game gets stuck, can't move, open menus. Just the ost keeps going, the drill keeps spinning on the same spot.
Already tried reloading both from manual and auto saves but nothing helped. Any help is much appreciated.

If you have mods on it's that, get rid of those till the first fight with the goblins then save and get those mods back on, that's what I've seen and tested out, but idk if that's your issue as well

I had this happen with a quest before, but not this specific quest. I have no mods though. Basically, i could not talk to the npc to advance the quest. The fix i did was load to last save checkpoint, then redo everything from there. Then it worked for me.

Also, try making sure all the npc's are done talking and take your time watching full cutscene and not skip any diaglogue even if it is just voice overs while walking or moving. As i said, reload last checkpoint, retry again, but do it super slow. See if that works.

No mods, it's my first run so I wanted to go vanilla. Didn't skip dialogues either, Fig just says "let's go" and I'm left to look at a perpetually spinning drill, unable to move, open menus or anything.
I attempted to reload saves, even as far back as having to re-do the quest where we battle Rookwood, same problem persists.

The same exact thing has just literally happened to me too! I'm going to restart the game and fingers crossed it works, will let you know!

I actually managed to get through it. I'm not sure if this is what fixed it, but previously I was using NVIDIA NIS and NVIDIA NIS Balanced for upscaling, I changed it to AMD FSR 2 and AMD FSR 2 Balanced just to see if it would help, and I was able to clear the quest.
Now, I can't be sure if that fixes it, I simply started the game for the first time today and decided to try it out. Can't hurt to try if you're still facing the same problem.

I just had the same problem. Not sure how to fix it but I got stuck in the loading screen for the drill too. I cant move or open menues either. How exactly did you fix your problem?

Okay it seems like if you stand at the back and wait until all of the dialogue is finished, then walk through the doors then the game wont bug.

This worked. I also did a verification of game files integrity, and it found one file missing.
