Fictional Game is fictional.
The population is fictional.
The history is fictional.
The society is fictional.
It's all fake. Hogwarts doesn't exist.
You are never getting sorted.
There are no rules or limits to who can be where
in a game where people routinely teleport.
Assuming that the Wizarding World had the same history and issues as the muggle world shows a distinct lack of understanding of the wizarding world as a whole.
Why would they have enslaved people of color? That's what house elves are for.
Why would they look down on people of color? They aren't stupid. Some people of color have magical powers that could stomp them into the ground with a wand flick.

You're imposing our worlds culture into a FANTASY land that, even if you are thinking logically about it, would have nowhere near the same history as ours.

But go off about how diversity hurts you queen.

Unsubbing from this discussion now as I've made my point consistently, and the only people left commenting are the type of people that just won't get it.

You can accept dragons, elves and talking trees, but you can't accept a 2021 BMW 5 Series 530i with optional heated seating. Why are you so bigoted?

except we know that the lore of potter universe is mostly based on real life with only minor differences and added wizard world. when people brings up real life history, this is what they mean, is it really that hard to comprehend?

"The Harry Potter universe is a parallel, fictional reality created by author J. K. Rowling. It is similar to our universe, except that magic exists (hidden and unknown to the majority of Muggles) and minor geographical and historical differences are present. "

But in the end none of that really matters since apparently this game is not canon, and has nothing to do with the actual lore of the harry potter world.

Ok, but that doesn't change the fact that while the MUGGLE side of history might be fairly similiar, there is NOTHING to suggest (and in actuality would be stupid to assume) that the wizarding world worked the same way at ANY given point in history.
Much the same way that our world has never been threatened by Lord Voldemort, because he's a problem that doesn't exist.
The Wizarding world would have had 0 need to follow the muggle worlds history.

Whats next? You gonna lie and tell me that the elder scrolls isn't an accurate representation of history? Bruh.

No that's actually a spot on representation of the history of our world on a 1:1 scale.
Sheogorath told me.

That is true, it would be stupid to assume that wizards would enslave or look down people of color. But i haven't seen a single complain from anyone that those are the things missing, where did you even get that idea? what i have seen in these forums is that some people complain about "too much diversity", which is against the potter lore indeed. There is quite well established lore which covers that subject at least somehow.

The only reason diversity would actually bother you in a FICTIONAL world, is if you don't like seeing people of color. Period. There is no other way to look at it.
You can try to jump through all the mental hoops you want to try to justify why they shouldn't be there, but at the end of the day all you are saying is they shouldn't be there.
Well, they are. Just get over it and enjoy the game 🤷‍♂️

The problem is when these people make these threads about ''too much diversity'' and ''over-representation'' they are literally just outright lying...neither in the lore or the game are minority races over represented or the npc's or main characters too diverse the majority of people in the game including students are white.

All they are actually complaining about is the other races being WELL represented and when they get called out for it they start showing their true colors of what they actually believe further down in pages and pages of their own thread.

Further more this well done representation is still below the actual average of the real life comparison if we actually do the numbers of how many hogwarts students there are and where they are from.
