How to make stairs with bones?

I did it before but apparently I have to do it more than once. And I can't seem to do it a third time even though i'm levitating these pile of corpses over.... the highlighted things.

pull the Bones to the first stair and release

It's kind of a glitchy. Sometimes you can put them in the right place and they just won't stick, but then try again a few times and it'll work. Just keep trying, adjusting the position a little each time.

you dont need the whole pile of bones. target the part thats missing.

I had the same problem the second time I had to build the bone stairway in the Feldcroft catacomb. The second section of the stairs simply wouldn't fall into place. Some of the bones had got caught under the floor while moving them but I don't know if that glitched it. I had to restart that mission 3 times before it worked.

Oh so thats what you are supposed to do. I just accio'd a coffin door and then leviosa'd it so I could jump on it and climb back up, lol.

You will find more caves with skeleton stairs. No coffins to levio :/
