0.7% players use Stealth spell

I just closed the game and saw on my dashboard only 0.7% of players have killed 50 enemies with stealth spell.

So, why aren't you sneaking around being a Nightblade?

Because I sentence my enemies to death, not temporary paralysis.

Whats the point, just jump in with your machinegun wand blazing and its over before you could have petrified even one enemy.

As somebody who generally likes stealth in games, this isn't really a stealth game. Without upgrades its both hard and provides no value.

You're a wizard shooting flashing lights and shouting words as you fight. That's where the fun is.

I plan to make liberal use of the killing curse when I get it but petrificus totalus seems almost worse.

Ive definitely left entire camps of men and women permanently paralysed in the forbidden forest. You either die a slow death through dehydration or you get eaten alive by some animal.

exactly right! i cant imagine the horror of being permant paralysis in Hogwarts world

50 kills is a fairly large amount. I think most people dont bother staying in stealth after the first kill in an engagement. As others have mentioned its also a lot less fun.

I've started opening a fight with it because it is pretty good actually
But I don't want to put in extra effort sneaking around, which i don't. Once you get the sprint while stealthed and another action set so you can quickly swap to it, it is pretty good. I still charge in to go guns blazing but if I can get a quick insta-petra off great.

its really good for taking on higher lvl enemies without fear of getting 1shot

stealth is lame. not because of the spell/mechanic - just i dont like "sneaking" games.

The combat is so satisfying in this game I just want to run in wands blazing and I usually prefer stealth in most games given the chance but Hogwarts Legacy made a solid magic combat system that’s to hard to pass on in my opinion.
