Hogwarts Legacy is magnitudes better than Elden Ring IMO.

Elden Ring was a very shallow mediocre game masquerading as something deep and complex, but really wasn't....

This game though... This game has soul, it has class. It's masterfully crafted and stays true to the lore, characters and world that J.K. Rowling has built.

Put politics aside, and you can see that this game is way more fun, and enjoyable and pleasurable to play than Elden Ring or any souls game ever will be.

Bravo. Bravo to you Avalanche Software. Phenomenal job you've done here.

Because Dark Souls is already damn enjoyable to people that it clicks with. The Legacy Dungeon design in that game is still top tier dungeon design too.

Dark Souls hits a niche that some people really love and it does it well. The only exceptional thing about this game is how it handles the IP.

every dark souls and ER are literally the same game with different bosses. You play one, you played them all. The only reason ER has received so many rewards is because during the last 2 years of pandemic we had very few good AAA releases and a massive drought in general so the moment one game that would be considered mid or decent at best pre-covid has obviously skyrocketed in popularity thanks to the massive amount of normies and people who never played soulslikes or videogames in general who bought it. It's literally the same thing that happened with Genshin impact, mediocre game having massive success and attracting masses of random people who would never play such titles.

I don’t see how they compare. One is a child’s game that feels like its been sitting on the shelf for 5 years, the other is one of the best games ever made in the history of the universe.

I’ve put 200+ hours in Elden Ring and I’m still not done playing it. It’s a masterpiece. The world design, the mysterious way of telling a story, the insane combat and its variability, the amount of spells and gear, everything about it is next level game design.

I uninstalled Hogwart’s Legacy from my PS5 after about 2 hours. It feels like a reskinned old game with the same tired mechanics developers are thankfully starting to move away from. Endless talking head cutscenes, endless walking around and spamming silly little spells. No challenge, no intensity, nothing we haven’t seen a hundred times before.

I guess if you’re a Harry Potter fan, then the world must be exciting for you. I’ve never read the games or books so the game was probably not for me. Can’t say I enjoyed a second of my time playing it. Had to click through the endless cutscenes, would have skipped the combat and endless walking around, too, but that doesn’t leave much game left. I don’t have a desire to download it again and give it another try. Was nice knowing ya, Hogwart.

Absolutely not. If you would have just said you liked it better or w/e it would of been fine, but you said Legacy is MAGNITUDES better which reeks of cope because you couldn't get through the first boss in elden ring.

Cool story bro. Elden Ring has 101 spells and Hogwarts Legacy has only 26 spells. Elden Ring doesn't has the main focus on magic and still has almost four times as many spells than a game that has only magic for combat.

Sorry, but Elden Ring is the better wizard game.
