How to recuse them, I unlocked the cage but they still there didnt move out from their cages and I have no clue how to help them.

I'm currently dealing with that exact one as well. Trying my best to catch it because it's a shiny female and shiny male. At first they were outside of a locked cage but the game acted as if they were caged. I saved and logged out. Went back in and it showed them in the cage refusing to leave the cage. Really want these toads.

Been having the same issue I missed the first capture of a shiny fwooper and I chased it. It disappeared and went back to its cage witch has no lock anymore and the bird is stuck.

Sometimes they run out immediately but most of the time it takes a minute or 2 for them to move.

The caged animals are just filler to use your unlocking spell you can not rescue them you can only rescue beasts from the marked den areas.

I am having an issue where I open the cages, defeat all enemies, and the cages then have no locks on them, but the door is closed on it. When the door was open, I left a few times and the beast was stuck in it.

Yes you can rescue them. After you unlock the cage, you have to wait for them to get out of it, then use levioso for an easy capture.

I use arresto momentum. It's awesome and works really well.

You can catch caged beasts just fine but it's not really worth the hassle.
There is a bug that causes them to stay in the cage for a while but they will
always run out of it eventually and sometimes you can even catch them in the cage after a while.

Not true. I even have a video saved if you still need convincing. Maybe try it out yourself. As long as it isn't bugged... Once the beast left the cage, you can rescue it.

The exact same thing happens to me, I try to free creatures from the cages and they stay inside them. I try to use the bag to rescue animals and I get a message that caged animals cannot be rescued. I have tried allowing time for it to come out, walking away, making myself invisible and nothing... This is the second time this has happened to me.

Currently trying to get the same one. No luck so far. They were bugged outside of the cage entirely at first, reloaded and they were in the cage, but still bugged and can't get them to come out to catch them.

This is the one I came here to figure out how to get! He is outside the cage in the castle courtyard but yea it still says caged beasts can't be rescued 😭

So just wanted to hop in and say i actually kept trying for a bit and used Accio while targeting the beast if you stand in just the right spot. I got it out and it rolled off! It took a few times of casting it though. Has to be in the sweet spot.

All, you gotta wait for them to leave the cage. Once they do you better move fast with the "Nab bag". Use freeze spell or the stop spell if you got it.
