Report a translation problem
I almost picked the female highest pitched voice for my male character because it sounded amusingly like an AI assistant. In the end I barely resisted the temptation and decided to leave that for my next (female) character.
It'll probably be fixed in the first patch - but that's just a guess..
If you want to avoid this; just "Reset to Default" in your Audio settings (then adjust whatever you want music and such as - but don't touch Pitch). That fixes the "C3PO voice" of the main character.
where can I see official updates/announcements like this? Steam forums seem useless as you can't even mention a certain bugged voice
A few content creators also mentioned that it had already been reported and should be in an upcoming patch.
No clue where to directly get this info. They probably have a Discord server for the developer (most do) or something.
Ah. I was not aware of that. I hadn't reached that point, before doing the fix for it, I mentioned a bit earlier in this thread.
It's intended to be extremely low? It's obviously bugged on the lowest preset
