HL is decidedly by the dev to be a sole single player game from the ground up. And I don't need to see idiots running around teabagging in forced pvp zone in mmo.

I don't think Hogwarts would work well as an MMO setting, it's not nearly large enough. The world itself could potentially work, but it'd either have to take place during a time of war/strife (example: book 7) or before wizards and witches started hiding from muggles.

I hate mmorpgs...too many cheaters and hackers in them. Just go look at GTA and RDR2 and see how many people complaining about hacks in those games. Honestly, I wouldn't want an Harry Potter MMO that just plays in Hogwarts. I'd honestly like them to expand to different wizarding schools as they seem to be just as interesting as Hogwarts.

But I agree, the Harry Potter IP is ripe for MMO potential if done right. But, anything has MMO potential, but the success of an MMO is so rare these days that I'm glad we even got an open world game instead of the usual MTX games the franchise has been producing.

SWTORs problem isnt the universe it evolves in, its poor optimization. The story line is great and the light sabers are dope too.

I don't think you're quite understanding what I'm saying, and that's okay.

SWTOR was never good to begin with. It was a WoW copy and paste with a terrible engine, and worse gameplay. We lost Star Wars Galaxies, and that was the replacement?? LOL nice try, but no.

They made it a little better, but the engine was doomed to the trash bin and they dug in the trash.

Base game story was good, Fallen Empire was okay.

Loot box simulator, toxic player market, terrible player economy system.

The game can evolve into an mmo, its not too far, they already have very good combat system, world, story, etc..

can simply add optional monthly sub, where you can party with 3-5 players and do dungeons together.

Deprived? Social games are the opposite of that lol. Single player games would be the ones who are deprived.
