The request surge may look bad, but the war looks much, much, worse. The language issue has been used as one of the justifications for this war, and we don't want any of it in the future. Thus, we want Ukrainian language to be recognized and appreciated, especially considering the number of speakers.
EDIT: as for the letters, they rarely work. I've tried it. Others have too. The devs won't add a language if they don't believe it actually exists and the market is big enough. The letters won't help to convince them. What does work, is the representation of Ukrainian speaking community on the internet. What Ukrainians are trying to say, is "we do exist, and we are many".
Agree, if a country always claims to have games translated to their own country, the country seems to lack education, at least in english. In my country many people even want to watch films in english or play games in english, because the voice actors sometimes are better.
No, I was speaking about making claims, not about being translated already. The reason why they get translated into these languages is the money they make. If your country would throw enough money for the developers, it would be translated the same automatically. But face it, Ukrain is the second poorest country in europe after Moldova, if it comes about money and cannot compete with "French, German, Spanish".
- it isnt. It is your standard autocratic nationalist corrupt post-soviet oligarchic kleptocracy.
- take some brain medicine, bro. Looks like you really need it.
Keep gorging on Russsian propaganda and indulging into your ignorance and preconceptions. You seem to be really good at it.
Where is my paycheck and localization?
