Nobody actually wants to play as a kid.
Playing as a 5th year, 15-year-old character will allow for more mature themes, more powerful skills.
And this isn't a school simulator, it's an open world rpg.
Right, because we all know that Harry's first year at Hogwarts didn't have any mature themes to it.
Like the scene where he dissolves a teacher into a pile of ashes, after learning that coming into physical contact with him causes the man extreme pain.
That's a movie invention for more action, that wasn't even in the book.
And it's just an action scene, that didn't raise the film's rating.
So then how did he manage to defeat the professor in the books again? It's been a decade or two since I read those books myself.
The physical touch does cause Quirrell pain in the book, and even mild damage. However, Harry doesn't outright kill him by groping him like in the movie. Quirrell is killed when Voldemort leaves his body. Harry is already unconscious at this point, and never sees Quirrell die.
Yeah see you in 6 or 7 years when they finish that mod. You're asking for 3x the content.
Then you haven't been following the project very closely at all.
I want the full experience of the school... this unfortunately sounds more like its going to be BULLY: Hogwarts... if it was made by someone who has never made a big game before.
There's literally a nearly 20 minute trailer that gives you an in-depth look at the point of the game and some of what is in it. Quit being a lazy piece of shrak and making assumptions and go LOOK. Jesus you ignoramuses are exhausting
