Clearly shows quite a lot of a) blond and b) white kids, so ...
Especially all the purebloods still very much in control of all levers of government in 1990s.
Edit: Hmm...
The situation may not be as unrealistic as we consider the wars and famine during the time. And unlike the muggle schools, every kid must enroll in a magical school to avoid breach of statue of secrecy. So it *might* make sense to have a more diverse population than a muggle school in the same area at the same time. Not sure now xD.
Just a quick Google search has revealed to me that the following schools are confirmed:
Hogwarts (located in Scotland)
Beauxbatons (located in France)
Castelobruxo (located in Central Brazil)
Durmstrang Institute (located in Northern Europe)
Livermorny (located in Eastern North America)
Mahoutokoro (located in Japan)
Uagadou (located in Uganda)
What does this mean for the setting, you might ask? Well for starters, it means people who would have no historically accurate reason to be present in the game actually have a justifiable explanation for their absence.
Why the heck does Natsai-Onai, or whatever that girl's name is, have a distinctly African accent, if she's attending Hogwarts? Shouldn't she be attending Uagadou, which would have been located much closer to home, than sending her off to school on another continent?
I'm not white and I'm sick of these woke propaganda antics in every game I play.
Just hope it feels organic and natural, in-game, instead of forced.
The fact that somebody has to actually confirm for you that the Character Creator system will allow you to choose your skin color... That should be a conclusion you come to on your own, using common sense.
I was addressing the last 3 posts or so on this topic, not the whole topic itself.
