mentally ill is enough hahah
It takes a silly person to not want someone to get paid just because you don't agree with the views they have. I mean I would understand her views something like, we need to put all the so and so people in a camp blah blah something crazy, but her views are what many people feel. So you want to punish people for having a view that you don't have?
I just enjoy the fantasy world. Her views mean nothing, and hope she gets paid for making said world. That is it.
so at least we have to wait 30-50 years for her to croak
and probably not even that long before she goes senile if you dont consider her senile already
Just pathetic.
Food stamps are for lazy people, think about the billionaires who will suffer. I actually wanna vomit.
I'm confused. Are you arguing for, or against Rowling?
Also, wasn't Rowling living in poverty before she started writing?
Her job is to entertain me, her views, her beliefs. Her values. Don't entertain me. So I don't care.
Anyone else find it funny that a group meant to foster women's empowerment splintered into a bunch of subfactions and began fighting with itself over who the true feminists were?
Nope.
She's spreading trans panic, about trans women wanting to get into women spaces where they don't belong to according to her. Presumably, to assault cis women.
But it's true she's the... "showable" face of TERFS. You may want to look at the people she follows and agrees with, you'll see it's not as silly as you'd think at a first look.
Those spaces wouldn't happen to be women's sports, would they?
Regardless, her political views and opinions do not concern me in the slightest. Her viewpoints don't retroactively change the fact she produced one of the most successful series of children's novels to come out of recent history.
Sports is one thing, but in this case, it's more the good ole public bathroom issue.
Also, if I'm not mistaken, trans athletes overall don't outperform cis ones. Pretty sure there's some studies around about that... 'cause, y'know. Hormonal treatments.
And yes, she did wrote that, I don't think anybody is trying to rewrite that fact.
