Black Screen after starting the game.
So basically:

I bought "Death End Re;Quest" after playing it for a while with a friend. I was attempting to switch my save files a few times and had my problems there but over all, the game still worked.

Then it stopped working. I thought my save files where the cause of the problem, so I deleted them but I had still a black screen of the game.

I re-installed the game, still black screen.

I deleted everything from Steam, deleted Steam from the "Programs and Features" from the control panel. Re-installed it (back up files were disabled and so was the Steam cloud, still nothing worked.

So I kinda asked for help on *cough* shady sites and they told me, their version works fine. Then I noticed that the game got an update on that day (28/05/2019) and that it must have updated the game while I was testing my save files on it.

So my assumption after asking others and checking the files again and again. The update caused the game go black screen on me and I want to go back to the old build. From what I saw, the update doesn't concern me at all because I play the game always on window mode and I don't need high graphics because else my PC would make the game's frames drop too much.

Does anyone have similar problems? Black Screen after start up.

Also, if someone knows how to convert save files (location: ...Steam\userdata\Your Number\990050) then I would be glad to get some information about that as well but again, my main problem is to get the game working. If I can't manage that, I'll just refund and finish it at my friend's place because, yes, I bought it to support a the devs but I also bought it to play it for myself (with possibly my save files, because I know from previous experience, it is possible to convert PC Iffy games save files).

Try deleting your config files, they are in the same folder with the saves SYSTEMSAVE_param.*
And turn off cloud saving, otherwise steam will redownload it.

Uh, there is no config files? Except you mean the Application.ini, which is indeed a config file...
