I see the same characters all the time for years now, proving what you said is wrong. So I don't believe you know anything to contribute. I mean especially sense you didn't actually answer the question.
I was chasing that guy around asking him where my stones are. Zero stones, Zero crates! I don't think he got it though lol
Personally, I'm looking to make something like a Vorlon from babylon5. As close to that as possible.
I did but, it's not any different than any other species. No joke. I know they reworked the character creator quite a few years ago. Maybe they made the alien option identical to the rest, I don't know. But the alien character doesn't let you create anything that you can't make with any of the other races.
For example, I grabbed the T'Vrell officer from the Fed tutorial, saved her, and recreated her as a captain.
Would not be hard for someone to find that file and email it to a friend, who could then paste it into the equivalent folder on their own machine... (note that this would also strip out details if the original creator used costume pieces that the receivers do not have unlocked).
That I don't know, you could try it. I've personally only done it with the standard things available to the species. (Copying a BOFF to another captain, that sort of thing).
