What if we established a bronze league pvp community where we discouraged overpriced META builds

You think the few PVP'ers whales left with 1000 plus point endev points and PVP are going to happily not use all the money they dumped into gear in this game, just so new players can maybe blow them up if they stand still and don't use their 3 button key scripts?

you can make privet matches. Just do that and invite your buddies only.

ALSO, I think a neat thing to add to pvp would be a wild card. A random modifier that applies one of a set number of variable changes to the match. Say, one is a reduced damage output of anomalies. And another wild card could be, no shields for anybody. There's no limit to the variables that could be introduced and cycled through. The point and reason that I think this would be a good addition to the game is that adding something like the wild card forces pvp players to change up their routine and to think on their toes. Which for me, would make it a lot more fun. As it is right now, it's really stagnated. All pvp players build the same, and play the same, over and over. They NEED change.

I get a lot of random 1v1s in but I don't make any friends along the way. a private arena set to 5 kills gets mission credit for the daily mission

what is meta build for you ? because for free back one or two year ago i got in 3 month with event 200k dps minion/tank/support-buff_debuff t6 Vo-Quv fleet build without any real money . https://www.stobetter.com/ https://www.sto-league.com/ . The main problem is not "over price" is that 15 million is nothing , that you need more money for the basic stuff , & then years of gathering trought event or years of ptw , otherwise you will not do more than me in 3 month . ppl with million of dps play the game for 10 years and many of them didnt put too much in real money , tho as for getting so mush dps they need time , that why you see ppl smuggle pvp account for 300$ .

Love you brother and I hope for all the best for ya but, Picard Day has passed by for a couple days now...the wonderful wonders have come and gone...this bronzed community Trump facepaint idea is asleep at the Knicks Final my guy. There is just no way any only knives/ pistols only yadda yadda pvp honor system going to happen or really develop any feet underneath itself when it takes 3 minutes shy of forever just to wait for a PvP, yeah. Sorry man, that hill ur on ain't nothing but heartbreak Holmes; the old PvP was great both in STO and in CO but you gotta let the wound heal. Have a blessed Juneteenth, LLAP!

with my build i got a ratio of 0.7 in pvp space when i have that account , the name of my charactere was Oore , & in only three month its not bad . you dont need money , you need time for the event ,, ppl that have ton of dps just have play for year , if you cant keep up with them its just mean you dont have the time , or you invest it wrongly , (even with money you need time less time but still years to rivalise with ppl that have true pvp build). Now i dont know for land , & its true that pvp is unbalance , but in space yo can still play withot geting just destroy every two second , otherwise you need advice from the community . Now i remember that some time there is event pvp made by some yotuber where you cant use some equip like fleet one & reputation one where you have to do with what you can craft & what youu can have as standart mission reward .
And i was playinng with a vo-quv t6 or vo dwel that i got in an event in three month , my build was not even meta because of the pet + tank + support (so less dps ), but it still do the job .For grouund its just unplayable, as yo have one meta , electricity stuff & nothing more ( that you could still have trough event for free ).

do not start with that time for the event stuff. I work 40+ hours a week. my hands are ruff. this game is not worth spending any more money on. i've spent thousands of dollars on this game over the last 15 years

Talking about this PvP you want to build...and mocking Trump while I'm at it because F that guy, but mostly just saying to save yourself the heartache of trying to build something that just isn't going to fly, she won't get going on past novelty level y'know, pour in the time and effort if you don't believe me but after 2-3 months if you're lucky everyone gathered together with all y'all digging the shiny new thing you've created all of sudden just drifts on and away so just be ready for that when it comes around so it don' take you by surprise.
