Star Trek Online

3 new games this year

1. Card game
2. Horror game with a main character i know nothing about
3. City builder with Star Trek paint slapped on it
Star Trek Fleet Command is mentioned several times in the video, but when i look it up on Steam it shows a notice that it is made for Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8?

Rather disappointing selection, Star Trek Online has it's own problems, but i have not seen any new game worth switching to so far...
scopley? they make masochism simulators.
p2w ones except that only the biggest whale wins unless you hide your alts in your enemies fleets and raid em and their fleetmates during crossover pvp events.
eve online would be set on fire if fenris tried the stuff scopley pushed, their pay store has a item that you can buy several times to decrese mats costs for shipparts and each time it costs exponentially more.

that makes literally *any* comment about sto being p2w horrendously overblown.
3 slop games to perfectly suit 3 slop series'.

The Ro Laren game might be ok but the obsession with making old actors voice 25 year old characters with old voices is stupid. It's bad enough in Star Trek online.
Unless someone makes a new Star Trek mmo or open universe space sim there wont be any better games.
Some people call stomping around Fallout in Iron Man Power Armor packing a lightsaber and a Star Trek Phaser cheating...I call it fun.

the city builder is during the TOS era , so hard pass for me
unless i want to build houses out of card board and plastic
comparing single player games with mmos doesnt really make sense as the longevity of mmos is more than any other genre

star trek online, star wars the old republic etc every notable mmo has been going for decades, these new games are temporary supplementary but not a replacement

Starfleet command came out in 1998 and was made for windows 98 and then recently upgraded to work with windows 7 and 8. I had it back in 1998. It was a lot of fun, but if you're going to get an old star trek game get Star Trek Bridge commander instead.

There is no replacement for star trek online or the thousands of dollars we have spent on it.

Starfleet Command =/= Star Trek Fleet Command

Two complete separate games.

My bad, when i looked for the game mentioned in the video i only found Star Trek: Starfleet Command here on Steam, seems the other game Star Trek Fleet Command is a mobile game?

Anyway, bought the LTS when it was on sale over 5 years ago, i'd say i've gotten my money worth back in ZEN over that time for sure...
