HOLY CRAP FOUND CAPTAIN TAGGART IN TNG!
So I'm watching The Next Generation right now, episode "The Host" (4x23) and Doctor Crusher's Trill Ambassador boyfriend just finished asking Captain Picard some uncomfortable questions (~13 minutes in counting the opening credits) when ENSIGN TAGGART contacted the Captain letting him know the Ambassador's shuttle was ready! The reference has finaly been found! Even the wiki didn't have this (but I added it)!

You only heard his voice, never on screen. So he could have been yes. I think that's why they picked that character. Little easter egg.

its actually a nice ep. not much is explained bc only picard doesnt speak gibberish, so he keeps commenting on it.
