£24.99 with all three playable characters would have been a great deal and am sure many more would have purchased the game. The reason I say this is because you placed the best character behind a DLC paywall meaning the actual game price is £34.99 which is a total NO NO for this kind of content.

Greed has cost you thousands of sales imo.

I would wholeheartedly disagree with you, I tried both, and she dies way to fast. Conan has way more killing power and wipes out units in mass. she does not, she is a single target killer. I had issues with keeping her alive.

True, he is better against hordes, but Valeria's higher single target damage makes her better at killing catapults, elites, creeper hives and the boss monsters scattered across the map, and her ability gives her a very good AoE with a short cooldown.

To be honest, this Game has only 3 Heroes and one of them you only get with the Deluxe Edition. That is like a DLC.

Not dlc? It contains an exclusive character, that is dlc.

Pay walling one out of three characters day one is really shady, and I say this as a massive fan of the game!

My honest opinion is that Conan is the strongest of the three heroes, his wide AoE high damage swings, extra tankiness and flat out amazing active ability put him at the top of my list by a mile.

However the deluxe hero, is not only really good, he has a different playstyle compared to the other two which is why it's extra rude to have him gated. His heal is of little consequence, but being ranged, it offers new options and ways to play.
I do think that his active ability is the worst of the three heroes however.

his active is amazing just dont use it on units unless you need to save them from dying or to get rid of disease / fire.

his biggest problem is he likes to put out fires instead of fighting even when a massive wave is next to him.

Canadian price on GMG :

Standard : 30.79$
Deluxe : 40.80$

and on Steam :

Standard : 39.99$
Deluxe : 52.99$

Thus yes, I bought the Deluxe edition for 0.81$ extra and am not regretting it ;)

I'm sure it will eventually drop by 1/3 at least (give it 6 months), cause it's benefiting a kind of release hype most common these days, but there's absolutely no reason for this game to have a higher price than "They are billions", especially when the later one is dropping an AAA campaign and has basically shaped what this game is (not to say they brutally copypasted it because I haven't played it myself, but how similar it plays from viewer perspective is amazing...). Except for franchise, of course diehard howards fan will want to play an RTS game just cause it's stamped Conan. Wait what ? Ok maybe not.

But again, I haven't played it myself so maybe its content worth more than TAB, which is indie & not greedy.

It does play a lot like There are Billions. I still prefer TAB to this one simply because more to do, more time to do it and more difference between easy mode and brutal. Some say it's like TAB but with Heroes. So far, Heroes are mostly just uniquely skinned unit with more powerful stats and a once a minute action. Not worth writing home about. If they fleshed out heroes ( Heck, even Kingdom Rush could teach this game a thing or two about heroes ), it would make the game much better already. The other thing to improve would be more access to setting up your match. Time between waves ( Heck, even a button that gives you an extra bonus of resources for starting a wave early would be nice ), interval between resources "Tick", etc..

What I don't want to see is a dlc every month selling us a new hero for 10$...That would just be insulting.

Also a different climate perhaps? I'm all for desert maps but the sand gets in everywhere and even Conan is starting to complain about chaffing butt crack! A bit of change in scenery " a la Conan Exiles " would do good to keep it fresh.

Well, this can only improve since it looks like they are listening to their player base. Hopefully!
