Seriously? There's a nude patch? What's wrong with people?

I am not linking it. I didn't even click the link myself.

But searching for something about the game today. I found the engine thing. Now this. Both unrelated to what I am actually looking for btw. (actually it's about Questionite that is not an easy answer I see since the search engines are not finding it)

Now in another game forum on Steam, I defending an overlay. But I will not defend this. It's one thing to have an overlay to make a game look sharper and crisp (much like the GeForce Experience does from nVidia with optimizing games). But this is not the same kind of thing.

But who in their right mind thinks to make nude mods for cartoon looking characters in games?

You must be new to the world; welcome. The internet and advances in technology has obviously made it easier, but people have been doing this forever; some even want actual sex mods. VR porn will be big business once they make it properly. I personally don't understand it but to each their own.

Don't think that 13+ will miss 18+ or 21+ action here then!

Seriously? What is wrong with YOU that you get upset about what people are doing in the privacy of their own home?

Show me on the video game avatar where the bad man touched you.

Grow up. Everyone is born naked, everyone is created by somewhat naked people and most NORMAL people spend a good portion of their lives getting very comfortable with one or more naked people.

If you are upset by nudity, especially on video game avatars you can't even see, you have emotiona/mental problems that should addressed by a psychotherapist.

Grow up! Was the best sentence part; it takes time and patience to be grown up and take part in theses things in a more graphic way. And there is a reason parents have to limit that type of privacy with full grown-ups.

If someone needs to look at cartoony characters to get their porn fix, at least they could pick a game that the people look more realistic. lol

The thing is that this is a clientside mod. It only shows to whoever installs it so...
How does that ruin the game for you?

Plus CO has a huge share of roleplayers and half of those are the creepy kind that the internet unanimously laughs at for being horrifyingly terrible.

Ouf! Well I admit all my cartoon character starts up as unclothed drawings so I know when I clothe them, I know where to fold their arms, T-shirts and pants to be realistical (some 3D engine just pop the details STRAIGHT trough the body -elbows in the ribs-). Plus later on the underlay serve as markers on their rotations (The full human body has plenty of medical and target markings for movements a la Muybridge). But, if I expect 3D modelers in the game industry to do it on the side as reference too, like me, for the wide public if I like to keep my drawing book on the corner of the internet or table, it is not for everyone's preying eye.

So yeah! I hope it is some user mod instead of a developper mod (that makes more sens). And, yeah RP wise it is possible to slip into whatever. But then, I guess everyone should know each other's ages for sure. You know there are so many guys playing that way ladywise characters... You know what happends when they meet and don't remember about it. :3

Well I do remember there was a 3D software called Poser and not lot of folks did 3D anim with it but its human models were acurate for an average weight body.

However, from back when I studied graphical art we had a hard time working with live models... (I won't doodle it up for you here), but it was as essential to understand our proportions and how light cast itself with the shadows on a body as Leonardo Davinci's studying dead corpses for medicine.

So even with all 3D limitations Poser had, it still had its very own light studio and articulations that wooden drawing manequins didn't had, so for some time, some 2D artists used Poser to have "models" that weren't asking 15$/hour at the time and didn't suffered from long static poses. In fact, I think it was the best way to use that software.

I don't say that with emotes and cam records and much customisations CO wouldn't make a very best Poser (if I count my collection of CLOTHED STANDARD screenshots from the game), but since stretch, Spandex, lycra costume count almost as bodypainting but with best bodysculpting behind, who really need nudes at that point? XD

I mean, yeah there is more to make than ERP. But you know that song about what internet is for that seems so popular now?

But we have to be mature about that. As in mature knowing our limits and be responsible not as being graphic and distributing all undue material to every audience!

As one drawing teacher said in my class sending me helping other students, I already know how to draw! But it wouldn't make me use CO for that even if I didn't had enough imagination or proportion senses. ^^

Let say, I know I've been "courted" more than enough by kids in that game. Not that I don't like them... But this is not why I played that game (and no I kinda had to decline politely every of their trolling harassements or put them on ignore). I don't envy adults working at some exotic store having to shove kids out of the store. It's like; how you do react to that? Good that isn't an OFFICIAL patch! ^^

Not all RP people are into that crap. Now onto the real issue. Well if its client side only the person who installs it can see it. It don't really bother anyone as such. However, I imagine it is not well looked on and would get your account deleted as any tampering with the CO client is a no no.

I know some folks on Steam share their games with their family... kids and all. ^^; You never know who just could get troubles on your account then (reminds me of that kid in peticuliar who misused his mom's credit card to play to a farm game somewhere.)

I already hate blood in that game :P I just pretend robots don't bleed and my blade character use an ebony boken. ;)

As long we don't have a money sound after each headshot or a FINISH HIM voice over head for dismemberment to happend.
