That reminds me I meant to look into that phone call, but forgot, and now it's days later...
I had an arrest job once that mostly only gave me a fingerprint (a couple of other details too, but even less helpful), and I ended up finding my target by going building to building and scanning all doors for prints until I got them.
Still tedious, but better than searching the gov database.
Oh, I thought it was just a couple of days, like surveillance videos.
I could load an old save to get the details and still check it out, then.
But I've also read that fingerprints fade with time, so I don't know how helpful it'd be.
I guess I could reload an old save, check the phone logs, go find the prints, and then take note of that and use that in the game at the point I'm at.
