Escape from Butcher Bay on Steam

It'd be a nice to be able to buy it somewhere. Does anyone know where I can grab a copy of it now? Or if there's any chance this game could come to Steam?

I already have this game on Steam, I'm actually talking about the original Riddick game that was released several years prior to Dark Athena.

Assault on Dark Athena does include Escape from Butcher Bay. Are you talking about the un-mastered version?

Sorry, maybe E-Bay or Amazon? The seller would probably want a small fortune for it if it is so rare.

iirc the only digital copy of the original Escape from Butcher Bay was on Direct2Drive, and was removed from that site's store a fair bit before GameFly acquired D2D. (wasn't on Steam at all because it was published by Vivendi, and Vivendi and Valve were not really on the best of terms)

I have the steam version of The Chronicles of Riddick Assault on Dark Athena in my inventory, which includes a remake of Escape From Butcher Bay. With latest Tages drivers and everything works here on Windows 10 x64, I used a steam giftable copy tho, not the gamestop version. I have 2 copies of Riddick for sale if someone wants, but right now these gifts are for collectors due to their rarity, so don't expect me to give it away cheap.
PS: they updated Tages 4 years ago to have infinite installs, they reset once you hit 3 installs, so it's no longer a problem.

I have the original escape from butcher bay on DVD, great game for it time and my proferred version, the reason is I refuse to install dark athena cause I don't want Tages on my computer

As I said about Tages, it now grants infinite installs, so only the name remains

you can search online sites where they sell keys, if you have problems starting up you can, I tried this, i found this post in community https://steamcommunity.com/app/9860/discussions/0/3422187248448659639/
hub if the code can no longer be activated online when you start the game because the servers are closed. Very nice game despite being old.
