Amazon digital edition redeemable on Steam?

Hey everyone, I've been trying to get a copy of this game on Steam basically ever since it became unavailable. Currently Amazon US is having a good sale on the digital download version of the game - and I saw that the GAMESTOP digital download version's key could be redeemed on Steam, so is it a safe bet to assume that the Amazon digital download will come with a CD key that can be redeemed on Steam?

If it doesn't say, chances are it doesn't.

And if I might ask, why do you want it on Steam? Why not just get it on, say, GoG and add the game to your Steam library as a non-Steam shortcut (which would get you access to the Steam overlay) AND not have to deal with DRM? (plus the GoG version's cheaper AND is on sale)

no, only place to get a steam key is gamestop .com , and the price is always 19.99..... they did have a sell one time for 4.99 , but yeah, Not worth it for 20$ imo, i got the physical version for 4$ brand new

DId you purchase it digitally? I want to buy and activate it on Steam as well, and was curious on how to do so. Love Riddick games, is Escape included in this version?

You'd need to buy it digitally there, yes.
It *is* a remade and enhanced version of Escape from Butcher Bay, I doubt it includes the unchanged original game as well as that would be pretty pointless.

Yes, I purchased it digitally and they immediately give you a Steam code. Yes, it includes Escape from Butcher Bay in its original form, except running on the newer engine. Same models, textures, sounds, etc. Like HL Source.

I wonder if OP still follow this thread. I would like to know about its DRM.

Does this game have a limited number of activation? If so, what will you do when you got none left? One more thing, I heard that before you could only install it three times and then had to contact the support about it. Later, they've changed it to three times per month. Is that accurate?

OP still follows this thread. I don't know the exact limitations of the DRM, but like you, I read that they made the activations "reset" every month.

I'm looking someone to pay 30$ (trade games, or through Paypal, I prefer trade games) for a GameStop CD Key. I can't do the purchase because of GameStop Region Lock.
