Question about the soundtrack
Hello everyone,

I have been enjoying the game so far, but one thing about the soundtrack sorta made me wonder, and I am going to use the art exhibit stage as an example:

It seems like, at least as far as official sources are concerned (such as the artist's playlist on youtube or the official album on spotify) the entire soundtrack is present but there are certain parts of the songs that are left out.

Again, using the art exhit level theme as an example, it lets out the calm part right at the beginning (that plays until you reach the room with the golden roasted chicken) as well as the saxophone solo that plays later.

Now, I do understand that due to the nature of dynamic music that is present in the game, there are certain "triggers" that cause a different part of the piece to play at a specific time in response to an in-game event (like when you meet the dudes with handguns for the first time as they come out of the elevator, if you notice, the music will get noticeably more intense then) but I do wonder if there is any way for us to access or listen to these tracks in their entirety somewhere.

Would be nice, IMO.
Thank you for your time!

I bought the soundtack in Bandcamp and I didn't notice there were some missing parts in the "An Exhibition" track, but you're totally right. We should ask Olivier Deriviere what's up with that.

It's not only this one, several tracks have missing parts. The one for the last level has an awesome bit when you're facing off against jumping skull robot at the end of the castle hallway., for instance.

Well considering how many releases are there of the Streets of Rage 1/2/3 soundtracks (last one in march 2020 by Data Discs) this will probably not be the last release for SoR4 OST.

For the next one they should included the "extended" tracks.

By the way
there's a link for the extra "cinematic tracks" on the official webpage:

https://fanlink.to/SOR4

And they added a bonus track on Bandcamp (wasn't there when I bought it 3 days ago):
36. Down The Beatch (BONUS) 03:23

Oh yeah, the beach track is one of those that were missing too. Neat, thanks for sharing! I hope Olivier adds them all eventually :D

Guys I just got an email notification by BandCamp.

New bonus track release "Rising Up Extended" (they moved "Down the Beatch" from the album to a separate release for some reason):
