Best to worst character

So far Floyd>Cherry>Blaze>Axel

For me Floyd is the best because he's easy to play, he has the best throws and his extended arm grab can stop heavy hitters from attacking. Axel was my favourite to play in the original but he's mediocre at every thing in this. Not sure about Adam.

Yes Axel is broken and needs help.
He is my fav character though. Adam is fun to play and is just superior to Axel, hits just as hard but has extra reach and mobility. Blaze is kinda mediocre just because the rest are just better but she is also still better than Axel.
Please help Axel, devs. Have pity on the homeless bum LOL

I forgot about Adam lol it's hard where to put him. I'd say he's just ad good as Blaze.

Only used Cherry so far but having alot of fun with her. She has alot of useful attacks and can dash.

Cherry is probably the least favourite. I don't like her combos.

I'm playing primarily as Axel. He has the potential to absolutely destroy enemies, but his short range and slow speed are killing him right now. I'd like to see him walk a bit faster and have the ability to immediately cancel into his defensive special. Think it would help pull him out of the trash tier.

I like increasing his walk a little. Nothing crazy but it would help.

Just cleared hard with FLoyd. Nah, I don't like him. Way too slow , not much of a cool stuff he can do, besides the double whammy. I did enjoy throwing people off stage though.

And I do like Axel, but he doesn't have any unique skills, just good basic combos.

Interesting. What your thoughts for putting Blaze at the bottom? I ask because I initially wanted to main her myself, then I had to change.

Floyd - slow moving but don't let that fool you, he has the damage, the range, and the ability to turn the tides by throwing even the heaviest of enemies.

Cherry - fast and nimble, does suprisingly good damage and useful tools.

Adam - is what Axel should have been I feel, his stats are similar if not better, with a better move set and a dash.

Axel - solid damage but lacks range and useful tools compared to the others.

Blaze - has to work too hard to deal solid and reliable damage.Lacks the tools she needs just like Axel.

All in all, those are my thoughts. I need a Training Mode to test things better.

I've actually been finding a lot of luck playing as Blaze. I think she's probably become my SoR4 main. Cherry is good. Of course she's the Skate counterpart, so if you keep her out of danger you're good, but if you get her trapped you're in trouble.

Axel isn't bad per se, he's just very average. Adam's great. His lunge can be incredibly useful. I never really liked Max, so naturally I'm not a big Floyd fan.

So based on that I have to say...

Blaze > Cherry > Adam > Axel > Floyd

However, if we're doing this solely by ass-kickery I'd have to bump Floyd up a place or two. He's great at killing people. I just don't find it as enjoyable as mastering the other characters.

blaze has lot of strong damaging special combos of her ff+p
try doing ff+p, jump d+p, p, air special into ground neutral special for starters
she's a combo beast
