Go farm circus and TID. You can reach 200k easily even with 3-4 pieces yellow gear. Then go back to TOD.
Yeap. Birth of blades causes Gaikoz to teleport non stop and triggers his warning slash attacks.
The pros/strong players don't want to help weak players most times because they're power-farming the card there/their character isn't strong enough to do a consistently fast run for the piercings so they prefer solo play, there's a very noticeable change on the miniboss/boss HP/DEF if there's at least 1 more player in the room. Whether you get carry on ToT is up to the host trying to find some goodness in their heart XD.
For TOD our main problem isn't your TA, it's players who DON'T even bother watching a guide on what to do/don't listen to what the carry is saying, making the entire run unnecessarily much harder & longer than it is. 60k TA c-lvl 200+ Ryan? Sure I don't mind carrying you, Ryan's amazing in TOD + he likely already knows what to do and has prayer for revive if things go south. Below c-lvl 50 + Less than 200k player? Okay buddy, chances are you don't even know what lisnar's prayer is and make my life carrying you miserable. I've missed like 3 Elesis 2nd job ultimates before because some wet-noodle newblets kept making the boss dodge, the worst part is they don't even listen and play as if they're some 650k 50% mpr build hotshit.
TOD was the end, end-game content until harrier and void dropped, it's expected that you won't be able to play with people hosting the room if you don't meet the requirements they want.
It would be better to find someone who's cool to play with TOD newbies :v

People can blame KOG for making progression god-awful, they can blame KOG for balances problems, but you can't blame KOG for personal choices on player etiquette. If a player is intentionally screwing up your run or failing to listen to people trying to help them, that's one thing, but it's another thing entirely to treat people like a plague just because they are either a few thousand TA too low or a character they don't like.
And it's even more toxic to bash players for wanting to play specific characters that they enjoy, just because you don't enjoy it.
I have had like 15-20 people ingame actually tell me I'm hot garbage for liking Gunslinger Mari. Yet I consistently can clear things on my own with her regardless of their input.
I stopped playing with people. The Grand Chase community is fairly tainted. If you don't follow meta you mean nothing to most people.
So my advice to OP? Learn the mechanics of stuff yourself, build your TA through Hero Collection progression and building your TID gear, Runes, and cards, and focus on bettering your own playstyle that works for you.
If you *want* to play with people, I suggest making your own group of people you know personally. That's about the only way you're guaranteed to not get treated like dogwater by the majority of the community.
It's not the fault of KOG for people's behavior lol
Like I said you can blame KOG for bad balances, you can't blame KOG for people's toxicity. It's not KOG's fault if I for example decided to kick everyone under 300K TA from all my parties of anything. It's not KOG's fault if I for example decide that all Lass's are banned from any party I make.
The decision a player makes, good or bad, lies on the player regardless of circumstance. You make the decision, you take responsibility for it.
And this community is Toxic with a capital T. It's as bad as LoL and almost as bad as DotA.
Dumb players is indeed very annoying to deal with (Especially when they not even try to look at the room title
I myself a lower TA player and not play ToD yet because I don't want to be a burden on other veterans players till I will get strong enough and try first to play alone to learn better on the monsters and bosses and etc. (And when I feel that I'm ready to play with other players at least I will be more confident and less pain in the ass.)
