It's literally ~60 mins in solo, you are just lazy. The 1st time you try to get it it feels like a lot, but it is not. Not worth wasting VP on it. If you're doing your missions normally and you are the correct level for the dungeons, you get it from Sands of Illusions to Hammer Reach (6 times each dungeon except Hammer's, just 1-2 runs there)
Just spamming ra canyon from level 75-77 already gives you 3 ultimate skills for mp characters, teroka even makes it a lot easier
If you're taking long in dungeons, and can't really increase your gear, i suggest reaching 1st job in every character, it helps. you can even just do the attack/crit related ones.
Oh no don't get me wrong I'm not roasting. Never called him lazy like some of the others here lol.
Was just letting him know the experience a lot of us had back in the old days when grinding out even a character was a pain.
But 800 kills isn't that bad. Yea it's a lazy design because it could've been anything more exciting, but really you can just go about your day doing quests and leveling and still get the quest done. That's kind a how I do those unlock missions for jobs and Ult 4 and Weapon change unlocks. I just do them as I go without thinking about it and it gets unlocked anyway.
The obvious thing being if it just says to kill a certain number of monsters or within your level of course.
No worries lol I know what ya mean, playing the same thing over and over can get repetitive. Is the way of GC End game though unfortunately.
But like I said above for the unlocks I just kinda throw it in my Mission List and let it complete itself as I go. It's either spend all my time doing the same mission over and over and get burned out, or at least make some leveling progress ya know?
Didn't Job changes also have a permanent "Coordi" set of weapons and outfit when they first released? Like not Coordi because Coordi didn't exist yet, but actual outfits that people definitely fusioned later when Fusion cards came out lol. (Except poor weapons, it was a long time before Coordi weapons were really a thing.)
there was... and at times there's also rares, like dio's rake hand as accessory etc etc,,,
