that is because gacha system is very scammy for who don't know the mechanic. i got tricked too first time....
You get first pieces of gacha in the first 10-14 scrolls used. So you think ( and i did same mistake ) wow is easy to get!! than with 14 x 12 = 180 around scrolls i'll get full set o.o

And....is a big big NO. Because drop rate of pieces is not "linear". More pieces you get, more scrolls will eat for the next piece. That's why reddit said 600. Is really a scam

I saw the thread. By the looks of it, the gacha rewards don't have a chance to give you a new piece of the set until you spend X scrolls/tries first (in total), and the number needed for this raises for each new piece. And apparently when you become allowed to pull a new piece, the chance of doing so is very high for the earlier pieces and smaller later but keeps raising per miss so that you always get it within 10 pulls after reaching that point (so there's an exact minimum and maximum scrolls needed for every piece). The results look pretty stable if looking per piece obtained:

MP character (16 pieces)

1st piece: minimum ~12 scrolls
2nd piece: minimum ~24 scrolls total
3rd piece: minimum ~40 scrolls total
4th piece: minimum ~54 scrolls total
5th piece: minimum ~72 scrolls total
6th piece: minimum ~88 scrolls total
7th piece: minimum ~108 scrolls total
8th piece: minimum ~130 scrolls total
9th piece: minimum ~156 scrolls total
10th piece: minimum ~182 scrolls total
11th piece: minimum ~216 scrolls total
12th piece: minimum ~258 scrolls total
13th piece: minimum ~304 scrolls total
14th piece: minimum ~362 scrolls total
15th piece: minimum ~458 scrolls total
16th piece: minimum ~644 scrolls total



AP/Hybrid character (13 pieces)

looking at this i feel like is more useful to just go for the first 6-7 pieces and than switch gacha set, but by doing this you can get dupes. So really don't know what is better. Maybe switching sets is more "luck based" while getting full set is expensive but need less luck?

It's a good thing yo want to buy VP, but gacha is not worth it, only gives you 20k difference to a FTP player and the pet is not worth the money. I can assure you that "Yama", a Harrier, pet, does more damage than a lot of gacha pets, If you want the stunt eff from Sirius, just use the Nightmare Circus pet.
Really, gacha is not worth it right now, only thing I think is worth it is that Harrier Resistance bonus from the S6 coordi, but not enough to waste so much money.
Personally, I would recomend you make your own coordi set with VP by buying some invisible accesories and some coordi tickets (with hero bullions). It gives you some extra stats depending on what you made coordi and what VP accs you buy, looks a lot better, it's a lot cheaper and you will enjoy it a lot 'cause is a coordi you made with your own creativity.

The korean pet spreadsheet is wrong about yama. we tested it on the official discord with friends. He does less damage than Rutherford. Also hit count is wrong

Even if tht is true, the gacha set not worth( but I think worth open them), now is not about the 20k TA, is more about what matter of those sets, so well never wanted do this.. and maybe will never do this video cause need a full gacha set for that.. and Im not paid for those videos for spend in game.

Lets start with the elephant in the room (lets forget harrier that for now not matter but in future dunno) crit chance, yup that is the only thing that matter, so well we can forget gloves, those exist for VP if want it, and probably best use of Vp for f2p but those not worth a lot either.. is only 3% so I prefere open gacha set ok...

So well rest is from gacha and here comes the problem see any set .. any, not all pieces have that 3% so that means once you get all pieces that gives that 3% you are done. That you miss pet.. ok so?,, that hat.. well dont have 3% crit chance anything work.

So well Why I want more the gacha vs VP fashion, well the extras of opening gacha helps.. more the pet glyphs. Some are nasty as more harrier resistence, others perma pet, others let you recovery ap/mp (the broken one) so glyphs+ crit chance is what we want not a full gacha set.

PD: yup I know still I will finish Mari set cause want her looks great with a full gacha set... fashion over meta.

what?

you and your friends have virtual grandchase!? that's illegal my friend, i mean literally illegal like you can get sued

...but about yama... i never had him in og grandchase, but people said he's a really strong pet, not og sirius strong (pun intended lol) but noticeable high output damage above the rest
so... it may be your virtual grandchase that is wrong...
