Report a translation problem
1) As all the other unique creatures (like the egg-eater in the swamps), that beast should still (and always, up to the end of the game) remain there. But I agree : it's rather tidious to find sometimes... Not only because of its small size, but because it seems to remain often in a prone position (enjoying the sun I guess ^^), which can make it hard to notice. Just keep searching for it...
2) Normally, simply running after it for some time should, after a few dialogs, lead to a tutorial about the dual grip-running ability used to throw a character after a creature. If you didn't receive it then, it probably means that you gave up a little too quickly...
3) Now why would Kay have his pants back... and therefore engage that endless loop of yours, I don't know and can't help :(. Your best best, in my opinion, remains (still) to try to find that creature - which can take a while sometimes -, grab it and hope that this script unlocks your current position.

Great ! Could you share that fix here, for what it's worth ? It could be of use for any other person facing the same problem...
1. Erase all the content in the subfolder Haven: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\LocalLow\TheGameBakers\Haven
2. Copy the content from the subfolder "Haven_previous_2"
3. Paste it in the "Haven" subfolder.
