There are 2 achievements for the bad and good ending. I'm sure if there was a hidden one, there would be an achievement as well.
I have unlocked all achievements and still didn't come across it. At least I didn't see anything on YouTube and there are always people who explore every pixel of every game.
If I'm wrong, I'm someone here will clarify.
Thank you for your comment, hmm I may have misunderstood about that...
So I'm going to check all dialog and choices for growing "confidence" in Haven, steam verion and Switch version even though I can't change the ending.
Perhaps I'll comment somewhere when I find something about it.
Well, I appreciate your kindness.
Something to experiment would be to do a playthrough and make choices to be sure that both characters have equal confidence points by the time you get to the ending. Either we'll get the ending you saw, or it'll randomly choose a character.
Ah that makes sense. I'll count it. Thanks!
I've checked about 100 dialogs till now. And it looks like there are still many dialogs in Haven.
So tough work! But it's a lot of fun hearing Kay&Yu's talking
Going straight to the point, I couldn't save both of them...
Following Cosmotronik's suggestion, I controled their confidence points to the end. According to my research, The chance he/she get the points are...
Kay...32times
Yu...33times
(Probably I miscount the number. I'm not sure... but I think it's almost right. )
But I think that we can't get all points through the whole game. For example, When Kay and Yu talk about "Illustrated Erotica Handbook"(after meal dialog) only either one of them can get point.
And this time, they each got 23 points in the playthrough. Seems like when they have the same points, either one of them is randomly selected on Nest's take-off.
I tried 9times, and 4 out of 9times Yu got injured, 5 out of 9times Kay became the same...
I just wanted to help both of them so it's really sad that it ended up like this. But I'll accept it.This is just my personal opinion but, these result represent "Paying the Price of Freedom", I guess. Well I may be thinking about it too much.
Anyway, Haven is one of my best game ever, and I'm looking forward to the sequel.
Sorry for the long text. Thanks for the time you took listen to me.
No, thank YOU for trying out my suggestion!
public enum EndType
{
None = 0,
KayDeterEnding = 1,
YuDeterEnding = 2,
ApiaryEnding = 4
}
For me personally, I think the ApiaryEnding/"Game Over" is the best outcome.
p.s. When KayDeter == YuDeter, the code simply flip a coin to set rusted character by a 50% chance; as a backup, the rusted character will always be defaulted to Kay first.
Ah, I see. Thanks.
The answer for your question is No. The person with the lower "confidence point" gets injured. I hope this will be useful to you.
