Think of it as reading a story/movie, that's the feel the developers wanted to go for, so no you can't
The OP didnt DEMAND the option they simply asked if was there. That doesnt make them some sjw looking to play the victim card- did you ever think maybe they are just a lesbian? If they were, ofcourse they'd not damn well want to play a game based around a het romance!
And if the game DID have that as an option, how would it negatively effect YOU or anyone else who didnt use said option?
As it stands, I understand why its not an option for a small dev team in a narrow focused story game. They'd have to double their voice work - it would be a lot of extra work and expense they probably cant afford. BUT I still think its a shame they couldn't - and there will certainly be some who wont buy it because of this. Including me. But nobody was demanding it.
What if it featured just 2 guys in a relationship- would YOU buy it if it was a gay romance? No? Then you understand why someone would check and it be a deal breaker right?
Yes it's so terrible. We need to get that down to 0% ASAP.
