All though the alpha testing, the Next Fest demos, and even the steam release supports modding.
There is a mod folder in the games install folder and you can just download and toss mods in there, nothing else needed to be done. Can find mods on the games discord in the modding channel, look at the pinned messages for links.
Like people really wont play a game with a launcher and expect others to have the same ridiculous expectation lol.
Infact every paradox game ive played has a launcher and it has never caused me an issue or made me think man I cant play or suggest this game to others.
Great way to shoot yourself in the foot devs.
Steam is already a launcher... Why bother peoples with useless crap that use your ressources in background for no purpose.

Dude paradox has been around for many years with this same launcher. I have yet to have to log into anything. And I play Stellaris one of the longest running DLC ridden Paradox game ever. So chill out, you don't have to log in ever.
