This or Techtonica ?
For an early access game, there is a lot of things to do?

I never played techtonica, for some reason it hasn't appealed to me, but I've played a lot of Factorio, Dyson Sphere program and Satisfactory and can say that Foundry is a really good factory game and believe that by the time they are finished with early access its going to be right up there with them and there is already a good amount of content.

Oh Hi Again.
Hmm.. This more sandbox than Techtonica.
This game has Better Performance.
Both are Similar, and I like both, but without knowing what exactly you are looking for in games like this it's hard to say

Well both this Techtonica are like Satisfactory in some ways… but way different in others.

This game doesn’t have much of a story that I have seen.

Techtonica has a story but is incomplete, but will be added to over time.

Both this and Techtonica let you dig out areas, but this is more like Minecraft and you can just replace the blocks, Techtonica it is just gone and you’re have to fill the holes with building block pieces.

I’m not sure how to explain “content” or things to do, here are these are sandbox games in the end.

Foundry has controller support?

I really don’t mind story, if the game has or not story that does not bother me at all. When I try to play crafting games, survival, automation, I’m looking for something fun

Controller support is limited and buggy from what I heard, I haven’t tried.

Techtonica does have Controller support, that is pretty good, but it being on GamePass/Xbox it kinda needs it.
You could always spend $10 for PC GamePass, to give Techtonica a try.

I got 2000 hours in Satisfactory, 650 hours in Techtonica, and my current save here is 70 hours.
I enjoy all 3, as each is different enough from each other while being kinda the same.
Each has the faults and strong points.
Which is better for you I really can’t say.

I don't understand how can someone decide what to play based on what others like cause it's subjective. There are lots of gameplay vids which can actualy give a taste of the game without paying. They are available even before the game actualy releases.

I would say Techtonica at this moment, Foundry has a great potential but at least need several major updates to catch up with other factory game

I hated & will never play minecraft type games - but this game is stunning & I think a worthwhile addition to the factory genre.
Look, I'm just one more person, but I'm a big fan of this kind of game with thousands of hours in Factorio and hundreds of hours in Satisfactory. I tried Techtonica and it didn't gel for me, whereas I am really enjoying this game and looking forward to where they are going to take it.

So I vote for Foundry.

On the other hand, ask in the Techtonica forums and you may get a different answer!

Do you have to manually mine stuff, or does it have automated resource extractors like Satisfactory?
Manual mining but only at the very beginning. Very quickly you move on to automating things. Closer to Factorio than Satisfactory but you get the idea.

Like the 1st 10 minutes, probably not even that, Carl is going to have you build Drone Miners
so Resources you quickly automate... now that doesn't mean you Drill tool isn't going to get used to get rid on terrain in your way. Even with Explosives I still use the drill (then Laser, in tier 4) a lot.

Techtonica has a static map, meaning every ore, resource, etc. will be always in the same place. This game has a randomized map meaning that you will have to actually think about logistics instead of looking up factory builds.
