Music Skipping? - Need help

While playing the game the music randomly skips to the next track and seems to only do it when playing a simulation and a unit starts firing his weapon. Just writing to see if anyones got a solution to this since the sound track to frozen synapse is amazing and id hate to lose it because of one glitch :/
