We'll be making healing cards more useful by introducing an element of purging debuffs to them, and removing the Expend tags from some of the weaker cards.
Upgrade cards will tentatively be playable on all structures regardless of them being Sentries or Wards. To better improve the card draw to get the structures needed for these builds, you'll be able to pick the school you want for draws and redraws, and in general there will be more gear focused on helping builds that require buildup.
Hope that answers your questions!

But for short - critical is priceless to elemental druid as her spells either attack multiple targets or attack several times.
Also dedicated healer build give you access to spells like - heal any ally for 10 (and buff them) or heal one for 16 (again, with buff). Or resurrect the fallen ally. Or make temporal healing card permanent.
But this is quite specific combo and in general indeed, healing needs to be made better.
