BROKEN ON STEAM DECK

Ignore the Verified status for Spirit Hunter: Death Mark, at this time it is entirely broken for the Steam Deck. Some people have had limited success in the past with various versions of Proton, though even then they reported the game kicks you out after 20 minutes. But now no version of Proton, GE or otherwise, is working. As of June 2024 this game is unplayable at roughly 1 fps. Don't waste your money if you intend to play on the Steam Deck.
