For my win, I had to endure shooting and dodging until the Boss was at like 3/4 hp. I popped the decoy, then ran behind the boss. I unloaded the Bitsplit until he died. For the kiting phase, I used a Dominator that was decently upgraded. Even though it is ballistic, 100 bullets per mag leaves a dent. There is an electric rifle that drops before this fight too, but it does ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on Hard mode without upgrades.
Cant kill it whatever I try.
Do the devs even play test their own game?
There is a very legit method, buy an eraser shotgun, finish the bubble trouble side quest to get timestamp.
Activate timestamp then pointblank unload your ammo at the boss with eraser, run away deactivate timestamp, kite until timestamp is up again, repeat. You can kill it in 3-4 loops even with mk1 eraser.
Another legit way is use rpg23, you can shoot the boss and kill the small spiders when they spawn. Keep your distance, with a bit skil can kill the boss without much damage taken.
There is no correct way to play games, I have no moral ambiguity about cheesing sections.

Did the trick on 2nd try without needing to run back to town to buy stuff
Most people asking about this boss at this time will not have access to the Bitsplit.... but most people beat the boss without it.
Digital Thorn isn't useful on this boss, since it doesn't do Melee Damage to reflect back as Digital.
Energy Weapons are more effective against robots, but considering the area before you get to the boss is all robots, you should already be USING an energy weapon of some sort. The only Energy weapon to absolutely avoid is the Interruptor, which is ineffective against large foes.
People always forget, if you've purchased the DLC (I believe it's CyberSec Mega) then you'll have access to the Pulse Mine which is HIGHLY effective against robots. I believe it will be available in the tactical shops for purchase prior to facing this boss... not storylocked. However, I believe you CAN find an Autoturret in a chest in Grinder or Nitroad... That's what I remember using to beat the boss. It's an excellent distraction... it only deals minor damage to robots, but does pull some of those little spiderbots.
It's worth checking your armor and boosting your flame resistance, the boss uses flamethrowers, which aren't as graphically alarming as the damage they deal.
You have to be patient, stay out of range of the flamethrowers, drag the boss back and forth across the play area while trying to disarm the spiderbots as they appear... (Hack the eggs to buy yourself more time and not get overwhelmed). And, of course, roll about to dodge incoming mortar fire... try to sit in the spot as long as you can before you dodge... deal damage and draw fire, then roll out of the way as narrowly as you feel comfortable doing. It's a slow battle, there is no real short cut the first time you play it. You have to drag it out... but if you do, you will prevail.
