"Early Access" brother.
The concept is already unique on the market and so far (if you are on discord) the dev's are responsive enough.
the only one i found similar to this was when i played RWR (Running with Rifles) with zombie mod.
Even for early access the game is very barebone, if you need clarification.
How is it unique? I played tons of similar RTS, and zombies aren't that much unique as well.
The only thing that can separate this game from others is, if they pay attention to story and lore (which they are doing atm), but most important aspects of CP are still under-developed.
Plain sandbox/openworld without emotional attachment isn't going to be enough. When you play RTS games like Homeworld, Nexus: Jupiter Incident, Ground Control, World In Conflict etc, which are all heavily narrated and story driven it really pops up and brings that emotional attachment to the characters/game. But yeah, early access, a lot is yet to be seen. And music, I can't even point out how important that is.
This is(was) unique, (2002) Ahead of its time, can't even get it on steam): I would run it just to hear the main theme. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, I was 15...
Men of War is the closest thing to it, but it lacked atmosphere and became repetitive and boring.

I'm using Avast, and putting the file on the exemption list doesn't work
Mid-game, I get 12-15 frames per second... Ryzen 6-core, 2060, 16GB RAM. Although, when it comes to ♥♥♥♥♥♥ UE4, I've yet to see a game that works well, without huge frame drops and stutters/freezes.
I killed patient zero with two turrets as she walked back and forth in front of my barricade. Just one of the examples how much work this game needs. AI, Pathfinding etc.
I mean NHF, as I said in my last comment, there's a lot be seen yet. Just the fact that I bought it, means something. Supporting you and paying close attention to its development. I see the passion and that's what matters.
Now on the topic of your performance issues are you on public beta or normal? We can definitely see about cooking a developer build so you can record a file called a stat file and we can analyse that to determine why your computer is having such a hard time so we can improve it? As a few examples Days Gone + WWZ both use the same engine as us but we tend to simulate a lot more at times. In the recent patches there have been improvement but we still have more to do. That i know!
Normal/Stable build, sandbox mode, obviously it's not constant, but if I were to zoom in into a couple of vehicles, one squad with defenses it drops to 15fps for some reason.
See, for example Worm isn't a good idea for me and yes, everything about it is still under development. But fighting against it, seeing it clipping through the concrete just feels wrong. UE4 lacks destructibility and in general low utilization of resources is a common thing.
i.e. Hell Let Loose, no matter the settings, CPU/GPU util is under 50%, game plays@~40fps and because of micro-stuttering/freezing feels like 25fps and so on.
I'm at 2k res, didn't check the CP's utilization, but as I said, no matter the game, UE4 is a disaster. I'm guessing you too will switch to UE5 at some point down the pipe line.
