Is Patient Zero Unkillable?

Or am I missing something? Was playing easy mode, rushed all the control points, where the infected only had three in a corner left. Patient Zero began to solo my captured points, trying to take down the upgraded structures there. Moved my fully kitted away team and they blasted at her at point blank melee while she just ran around ignoring all the bullets and flamethrowers to keep attacking the capture point. Eventually ran out of bullets, resupplied, and wasted another full round of point blank firing. After about two minutes of wondering why she wasn't fleeing like all the other times she takes damage, game eventually crashed.

Is this a bug?

Same happened to me in a game last night. Phase 3 with shredder rounds researched and she just ignored the the full Away Team unloading in her. I had her stuck in a CP going back and forth between the ammo and health truck. She'd break one and I'd just rebuild it and she'd come back for it. She got stuck in a loop that way and I kept her there for several minutes, stunning/grenading/rapid firing when possible.
Can she not be killed while attacking a point? Because the previous game she died seemingly randomly when she ran past a defense point I'd set up about mid map.

prancingfox - She is killable but only after you've collected enough DNA samples. You can then use those to research shredder rounds - the only bullet that can kill her. After that, you have to go out and find her to finish her off before you can get a game over victory.

Mr. Chocolate Milkshake - If there is a bug, however, that the shredder rounds aren't killing her, we can look into that. I've created a Trello card for that just now.

Hey spacemonkey! Would you be able to clarify that you do in fact kill Patient zero without shredder rounds and with the turrets (if you have bought the shredder rounds, the turrets also get shredder rounds)? If so, we'll look into it!

I bought shredder rounds but she doesnt die just run around among the awaytteam and 20 towers

Hey Tuffa! Would you be able to get some video so we can confirm that you have the Shredder Rounds and to see what happens when she gets hit? She should go down after 20 seconds of sustained hits with Shredder rounds so video would be super helpful to see what's happening and what we need to fix =)

Would you be able to share your save file in which this happened in?

In order to get the Save file, please follow these instructions:
1) Hit Start, search Run, and type in %temp%
2) Go up a folder level to Local (you can click on the "Local" in the folder address bar)
3) Search for the CepheusProtocol folder, click on Saved, and then open the SaveGames folder

That's Shredder Round mechanic is stupid. I will understand if she is way easier to kill with it, but no damage by conventional weapons at all? Why she is stronger than Alex Mercer?

how is it stupid? it keeps players from rushing her with a jeep for an easy win.

You pointed to a recent addition, transport, as a way to cheese the game. I pointed that there is other option to go around this problem.
