Is there any explanation about the story anywhere in the internet?
I actually haven't played this but saw a lot of gameplay of it. What's going on in this game's story?
After you escape, they go back to the mansion and do other puzzles. Is all of that a dream or something?

It's been too long since I played it but I seem to recall there being scenes where you find out that you're the girl and you're in a hospital. The game might represent her struggle against death in her own mind. Some of the endings you/she dies which would represent her failure to escape death while she survives in the better endings. I can't remember enough to be certain, though.

It’s a dreamlike representation of the relationship between a dying parent and their daughter. Most of the time you are steering her through life. If you get it wrong, her life is ruined, represented by her death; and then you die by the same means because knowing that your failure ruined her life is as devastating as anything could be.

The interactive games and the villain represent the tension when you’re dying yourself. You don’t want to die, and she doesn’t want to lose you, but since you are eventually doomed every moment and resource she spends on you is not on something that will make things better for you. The black clothed figure is your death, or possibly, your more selfish side.
