How many hours on average would it take to beat the game ?

Asking since I am thinking about pickling this up and knowing how long the game is will allow me to plan adequet time accordingly across sessions.

I dont think challenging is the right word, but frustratring is, i mean putting checkpoints so far in the later levels is terrible. Having to replay long sections again is annoying, honestly was expecting more from the game, although the story is nice, the gameplay is too repetitive.
Edit:Finally beat it, that last level was long. Took me around 8 hours, got the achievement for not killing anybody, now i guess it's time to kill stuff? Anyway, aside from the issues i mentioned above, it's a good game.
